Hearing reports of Bali's might, Rama was eager to prove his strength to Sugreeva. He kicked Dundubhi's carcass so hard that it went flying. But Sugreeva was not impressed as the mere carcass helped to prove nothing about Rama's power. Rama then took his bow and arrow and with one shot slashed seven tres one after the other. Finally convinced, Sugreeva asked Rama to fight Bali.
