The crow and the Snake - A Moral Story

Once upon a time, a crow lived on a large tree in the middle of a forest. It had built a cozy nest to lay its eggs and eagerly waited for its little ones to hatch. However, a wicked snake lived in a hole at the base of the same tree.

Every time the crow laid eggs, the snake would slither up the tree, eat the eggs, and return to its hole. The helpless crow was heartbroken but did not know how to protect its eggs from the cunning snake.

One day, the crow decided to seek advice from its wise friend, the fox. The fox listened carefully and then whispered a clever plan into the crow's ear.

The next morning, the crow flew to the king's palace, where it saw the princess bathing in the royal garden. She had placed her golden necklace on the edge of the fountain. The crow quickly swooped down, picked up the shiny necklace in its beak, and flew straight back to its tree.

The royal guards saw the crow steal the necklace and chased after it. The crow deliberately dropped the necklace into the snake's hole. When the guards reached the tree, they saw the snake inside the hole and immediately killed it to retrieve the necklace.

The crow was finally free from the wicked snake and could now lay its eggs safely. From that day on, it lived happily, raising its little ones without any fear.
