Easter Bunny Hugs And Kisses

That cute little bunny has hopped all day,
delivering baskets for the holiday.
His paws are so tired and his nose how it itches,
He left you something special to fulfill all your wishes-
Lots of cute little Easter bunny hugs and kisses.

Easter poem of a little rabbit named Hop and Stop

Easter Bunny

(by Mary Brandolino)

In memory of all the bunnies we couldn't save.

I remember Easter Sunday
It was colorful and fun
The new life that I'd begun
In my new cage.
I was just a little thing
When they brought me from the store
And they put me on the floor
In my cage.
They would take me out to play
Love and pet me all the time
Then at day's end I would climb
In my cage.
But as days and weeks went by
I saw less of them it seemed
Of their loving touch I dreamed
In my cage.
In the night outside their house
I felt sad and so neglected
Often scared and unprotected
In my cage.
In the dry or rainy weather
Sometimes hotter sometimes colder
I just sat there growing older
In my cage.
The cat and dog raced by me
Playing with each other only
While I sat there feeling lonely
In my cage.
Upon the fresh green grass
Children skipped and laughed all day
I could only watch them play
From my cage.
They used to take me out
And let me scamper in the sun
I no longer get to run
In my cage.
Once a cute and cuddly bunny
Like a little ball of cotton
Now I'm grown up and forgotten
In my cage.
I don't know what went wrong
At the home I did inhabit
I just grew to be a rabbit
In my cage.
But they've brought me to the pound
I was once loved and enjoyed
Now I wait to be destroyed
In my cage.

Easter Miracle

A miracle of love divine,
In Easter's joy, we do entwine.
The gift of life, a hope so bright,
For all the world, in peace and light.
The cross that bore our Saviour's weight,
The empty tomb, a promise great.
Of new beginnings, fresh and new,
A life redeemed, so pure and true.

In Easter's grace, we find our way,
Our hearts renewed, our fears allayed.
For Christ has risen, and we know,
His love for us will always grow.

Easter Hope

Easter brings a message clear,
Of hope and love, so pure and dear.
The promise of a brighter day,
In Christ's embrace, we find our way.
Through trials and struggles, joys and fears,
Christ's love for us, will ever be near.
In Easter's grace, we find our rest,
A peace that comes, from Christ's own breast.

The tomb was empty, Christ has risen,
A message strong, a hope so given.
That life can bloom, in every heart,
And hope can shine, where once was dark.

So let us lift our voices high,
In joyful praise of Christ most nigh.
And let our hearts, be filled with love,
For Christ has risen, and lives above.

Easter Blessings

Easter blessings, all around,
In every sight and every sound.
From blooming flowers to chirping birds,
The message clear, in every word.
A love that's pure, a hope that's bright,
A promise strong, in Easter's light.
Of life renewed, of hearts made whole,
In Christ's embrace, we find our soul.

So let us lift our voices high,
In joyful praise of Christ most nigh.
And let our hearts, be filled with love,
For Christ has risen, and lives above.

Easter blessings, all around,
In every sight and every sound.
May we all feel God's gentle hand,
And know that we are truly blessed.

Easter comes but once a year

Easter comes but once a year
But when it does, we all know its here
Children filling themselves with chocolate
Dad's down the pub for a pint of beer!

We go to the church for the wine and bread
Dad's half asleep, and jerking his head
Baby sister is here too, munching away
On the free Easter egg that the Priest gave us today

But remember we must, that the Lord died for us
And ascended into heaven to give us fresh lives
For each and every one of us.

Five Little Easter Eggs

Five little Easter eggs, lovely colors wore;
(hold up five fingers)
Mother ate the blue one, then there were four.
(bend down one finger)

Four little Easter eggs, two and two, you see;
Daddy ate the red one, then there were three.
(bend down next finger)

Three little Easter eggs, before I knew,
Sister ate the yellow one, then there were two.
(bend down next finger)

Two little Easter eggs; oh, what fun,
Brother ate the purple one, then there was one.
(bend down next finger)

One little Easter egg; see me run!
I ate the very last one, and then there were none.
(bend down last finger)

Hop and Stop

The first little rabbit went hop, hop, hop.
I said to the first rabbit, "Stop, stop, stop!"
The second little rabbit went run, run, run.
I said to the second rabbit, "Fun, fun, fun!"
The third little rabbit went thump, thump, thump.
I said to the third rabbit, "Jump, jump, jump!"
The fourth little rabbit went sniff, sniff, snuff.
I said to the fourth rabbit, "That is enough!"
The fifth little rabbit went creep, creep, creep.
I said to the fifth rabbit, "It's time to sleep!"

Bunny, Bunny

Bunny, white bunny
With ears so tall
(Place pointer fingers beside head)

And your two pink eyes
And your mouth so small.
(Make 0 with mouth)

Wiggle goes one ear.
(Wiggle one finger)
Wiggle goes the other.
(Wiggle other finger)

Hop, hop, hop, hop
Home to your mother!
(Hop away in four hops)

I Had an Easter Bunny

I had an Easter bunny,
One day she ran away.
I looked for her by moonlight,
I looked for her by day.
I found her in the meadow
With her babies 1, 2, 3.
So now I have four rabbit pets
To run and jump with me.
