Ingredients:
1 package of refrigerated biscuits
Method:
Use a doughnut cutter to cut holes in the biscuits. Deep fry in heated oil.
Lay on paper towel to drain and cool. Sprinkle with granulated sugar, icing
sugar, or a mixture of white sugar and cinnamon. These are just like the
ones grandma used to make. Tasty! Be sure to supervise children through the
deep frying. Grease can cause severe burns.

Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups sugar
1 cup unsalted butter, or shortening
2 eggs
4-1/4 cups all purpose flour
1-1/2 tsps. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 egg white\cooked
1/2 tsp. water
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp. milk
Method:
Preheat oven to temperature 350°F. Cream together the sugar and the butter
or shortening Add the eggs, mixing well. Add the dry ingredients and mix
until well blended. Stir in the vanilla and milk. Roll out the dough on a
lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out shapes with cookie
cutters. Whisk together egg white and water in small bowl. Brush on cookies
before baking. Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for 8-10
minutes. The cookies are done when the edges start to brown because they
will continue to cook slightly on the hot baking sheets when you remove them
from the oven. Allow to cool. In a small bowl, mix together powdered sugar
and milk to make a spread able glaze. Brush on cookies after they have
cooled. Store in an airtight container.
